The Dodge Charger of 1970 was a sports coupé of the American Chrysler concern and belonged to the class of the muscle cars. Besides the road car version, the model was also used in racing, e.g. in the NASCAR series.

The model received a revival through its appearance in the 2001 film “The Fast and the Furious”, the first part of the Fast & Furious film series, as well as several other parts of this series. In the film, the car was driven by Dominic Toretto, who was impersonated by actor Vin Diesel and played one of the main roles in several parts of the film series.
