The Mazda RX-7 is a sports car from Mazda, which was produced from spring 1978 to summer 2002. The special features of the RX-7 are its Wankel engine and its folding headlights. In the almost 25 years of the entire series, 811,000 vehicles were produced.

The model received a revival through its appearance in the 2001 film “The Fast and the Furious”, the first part of the Fast & Furious film series. In the film, the car was driven by Dominic Toretto, who was impersonated by actor Vin Diesel and played one of the main roles in several parts of the film series.
