Roberto Ravaglia remains one of the most successful touring car drivers of all time. As well as winning the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and Spa, he was also European and World Touring Car Champion. In 1989, he also took the overall victory in the DTM. During the 1992 DTM season, he drove in the BMW M3 (E30) for the Schnitzer Motorsport Team. With victories in the 1st and 2nd rounds at the Hockenheimring, among others, he finished 7th overall.
